John Westwood Hill is the face behind the millinery channel on YouTube, JWH Millinery. John's millinery career started with his own wedding. Made redundant from the kind of office job everyone wants to get away from, he had to save money, so he designed every single piece for the ceremony. He's not looked back.

Since graduating in Millinery at Leeds College of Art he has remained a creative soul and is now sharing his skills via his YouTube channel.

Comprising how-tos, reviews of fashion, analysis of industry events where the public would love a birds-eye view, he's now watched as much for his Northern chat as much as for his cutting-edge tutorials.

JWH's style, also, is a change from the traditional, combining painstaking old-school craftsmanship with contemporary 3D-printed elements. There's a lot of crossover with craft and more female-focused maker channels, with John's tutorials encouraging everyone to buy their own materials and get stuck in.
